A Finance Director is sought for an internationally thriving organisation, with a base near Southampton. This is an excellent opportunity for a progressive finance professional to join a growing, international organisation that has a track record of internal promotion across its operations. You will be the number one finance position on site and will business partner with a range of senior stakeholders while ensuring the smooth running of the department.
Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for:
- All financial and management reporting to the CFO and Group Head Office overseas
- Leading a team of 4 staff
- Extensive business partnering with the local MD and various senior finance stakeholders
- A focus on continuous improvement to automate and streamline monthly group reports
- Consolidation of accounts for 2 UK sites
- Overseeing the management of an offshored transactional accounts team
What you will need:
- To be qualified – ACA / ACCA / CIMA
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as Finance Director / Financial Controller / Head of Finance
- Extensive experience gained in a manufacturing, engineering or similar sector, ideally with revenue recognition experience
- Confidence to business partner across all levels of stakeholder
- Working knowledge of SAP, Power BI and Excel
