Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Financial Accountant to join an exciting Professional Services company experiencing huge growth based in Bristol. For the right person the client is offering a very competitive:
£50,000 - £55,000 plus bonus and hybrid remote working
Role responsibilities will include but not limited to
- Oversee the monthly accounting close cycle in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
- Maintain robust and compliant controls & processes to ensure accurate reporting of both the P&L and Balance Sheet
- Lead the annual preparation of statutory financial statements for the business ensuring compliant and timely filing and provide assistance/guidance on other smaller UK entities
- Primary point of contact for the external auditors
- Assist Finance and Business leaders with the co-ordination and accounting for new businesses, contracts, processes and accounting standards
- Provide monthly and quarterly reporting/analysis on the financial position of the business
- Provide support and input to wider finance team goals and objectives and participate in initiatives that will benefit the business
Person specification:
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA)
- Significant experience in preparation of Statutory Financial Statements
- Knowledge of complex accounting systems and reporting applications
- Compliance Focused
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to build positive relationships and focus on customer satisfaction
