Childcare Assessor / Trainer

up to £30,000 (Depending on skills and experience) + Excellent Benefits Package

Essential Criteria:
- Hold a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA).
- Hold a recognised Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET etc.)
- Must have experience of delivering full Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare and/or Early Years Childcare.
- Hold a minimum of 2 years' occupational competency within Residential Childcare and/or Early Years.
- Must hold a Level 3 in Childcare (Residential / Early Years).
- Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel.
Duties include:
- Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Apprenticeships in Early Years Childcare and/or Residential Childcare (depending on competency).
- Plan and deliver engaging sessions both online and face to face with learners.
- Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
- Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
- Support, advise and motivate learners.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner's needs.
