Position Overview

Are you a skilled and seasoned Finance Manager with extensive experience in financial management and strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the company, implementing sound financial practices, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities and a deep understanding of financial management within a corporate setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.
  • Coordinate, analyse, and report the financial performance to Management and Board of Directors (financial performance, projections, and other special projects as required).
  • Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties.
  • Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines.
  • Develop and manage annual and multi-year budgets that are adequate for the organisation's needs including preparation of periodic budget forecasts.
  • Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organisation.
  • Oversee the coordination and activities of independent auditors ensuring all audit issues are resolved and all compliance issues are met.
  • Ensure adequate cash flow to meet the organisation's needs.
  • Supervise the finance department and manage team performance.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders including auditors, bankers, and regulatory authorities.

Qualifications

  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance management.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Manager or relevant role.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong leadership and organisational skills.
