As the business continues its rapid expansion, we are recruiting for a Senior Financial Accountant to join the finance team and play a pivotal role in supporting the Finance Manager with financial reporting and a variety of other financial operations.

As Senior Financial Accountant, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy of monthly management accounts, driving financial controls, and assisting in both ad-hoc projects and financial transitions. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking company, contributing to high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management Accounts Preparation:

  • Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts for both the Group and its subsidiaries.

  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations:

  • Ensure accuracy in monthly balance sheet reconciliations, providing robust documentation to support year-end processes.

  • Financial Reporting & Reconciliations:

  • Assist in monthly management reporting, ensuring accurate reconciliation between management and statutory accounts.

  • Ad-hoc Projects for US PE Backers:

  • Support ad-hoc finance tasks requested by the US, often linked to PE backers.

  • External Audit & Statutory Accounts:

  • Contribute to the external annual audit, including the preparation of statutory financial statements.

  • Wider Finance Team Support:

  • Provide ad-hoc support to the Financial Controller and the wider finance team, contributing to various ongoing projects.

Your Profile:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with strong technical accounting skills.
  • Exposure to revenue accounting is beneficial, but not essential.
  • A hands-on, proactive approach, comfortable working with manual processes.
