Our client is offering a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to join their team as a Finance Apprentice. This role is a stepping stone to understanding the processes of a Finance department and contributing to the support and improvement of our services in the medical industry, ultimately impacting patient care positively.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Learning and understanding the processes within Finance, including Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger.
  • General administration tasks such as handling email queries, managing post, and answering telephone calls.
  • Processing invoices for Sales and Purchase Ledger.
  • Chasing outstanding debts and reconciling statements.
  • Raising quotations and contract pricing.
  • Reviewing open purchase orders and goods receipts.
  • Providing cover for the team during leave and absences.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • No prior experience is required as full training will be provided.
  • Commitment to complete an NVQ course as part of the apprenticeship, with details to be agreed upon with the successful applicant.
  • The apprenticeship will last for the duration of the course (a minimum of one year), which may include ½ day college attendance and/or evening lessons.
