Our client is offering a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to join their team as a Finance Apprentice. This role is a stepping stone to understanding the processes of a Finance department and contributing to the support and improvement of our services in the medical industry, ultimately impacting patient care positively.
Day to Day of the role:
- Learning and understanding the processes within Finance, including Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger.
- General administration tasks such as handling email queries, managing post, and answering telephone calls.
- Processing invoices for Sales and Purchase Ledger.
- Chasing outstanding debts and reconciling statements.
- Raising quotations and contract pricing.
- Reviewing open purchase orders and goods receipts.
- Providing cover for the team during leave and absences.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- No prior experience is required as full training will be provided.
- Commitment to complete an NVQ course as part of the apprenticeship, with details to be agreed upon with the successful applicant.
- The apprenticeship will last for the duration of the course (a minimum of one year), which may include ½ day college attendance and/or evening lessons.
