Lift Service and Maintenance Engineer

T2M are currently recruiting a Service and Maintenance Engineer on behalf of an Engineering business who install, service and maintain lift systems across the UK.
As a Service and Maintenance Engineer you will work as part of their West Midlands team to, ensure all planned preventative and reactive maintenance works are carried out across the region.
Key Responsibilities as a Service and Maintenance Engineer
- To carry out service and repairs for goods, passenger and service lifts**.**
- Respond proactively and timely to lift breakdowns.
- To report service / repair requirements / defects to encourage improvements in lift equipment and safety.
- To actively participate in an on-call rota (1 in 5 weeks).
- Conform to and utilise best practice within Health and Safety at all times
- To work with various Engineers and Trainee Engineers as part of a team as and when required.
- To liaise directly with the customer whilst on site and build a good working relationship.
Requirements to be a successful Service and Maintenance Engineer
- Be qualified to at least NVQ Level 3, J-Module or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience of working on a variety of different lift manufacturer's equipment.
- Have in-depth knowledge of a variety of different lift manufacturer's equipment.
- Demonstrate that you can apply lift engineering principles to maintenance and fault diagnosis.
- Experience of working within a team, and following instructions.
This role will be based from home with a company vehicle, travelling to company sites, therefore a UK Driving License is a requirement.
Benefits and what to expect
- £15.50 - £18.50 an hour depending on experience.
- Overtime.

- 25 days plus bank holidays (8 days).
- On-call (1 in 5 weeks).
