This small charitable membership organisation, based in central London, is looking to recruit a Communications Executive to contribute to their communications activities, working across a wide range of online platforms and media channels to increase the reach and understanding of their important work.
Key Responsibilities of the Communications Executive Role:
- Produce and send regular email bulletins and newsletters to members to ensure consistent communications.
- Draft key communications reports, publications, and press releases, selling them in to media outlets and acting as the main point of contact.
- Regularly update key websites with news items, publications, features and event details.
- Contribute to advocacy efforts on behalf of the organisation, undertaking research and supporting any relevant projects
- Monitor and analyse the impact of communications via a range of means, providing insight and recommendations to senior staff.
Education, Skills and Experience:
- Educated to degree standard or with equivalent professional experience.
- At least 3 years' experience within a marketing or communications role with a background in writing for both print and digital media, ideally within the health arena.
- Strong editing, copywriting, and proofreading experience and skills.
- IT proficiency, including the use of MS Office, CMS systems, and social media platforms.
- Attentive to detail.
Salary:
- c£38,000-c£43,000 per annum.
- Full-time, permanent role, due to start at the beginning of November.
- Based in central London office 3 days per week, with remote working for the rest of the week.
