Local school are looking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic Head of Geography to lead their hardworking, highly experienced and supportive Geography Department within the wider Humanities team.
The department, which consists of dedicated, lively and innovative teachers, work collaboratively with each other. They are fortunate to have as part of the team, a wide range of experience from a Teach First colleague through to a highly skilled and experienced lead practitioner. Their strength as a team has led to high student numbers at GCSE and A Level over a sustained period.
They are looking for somebody who is passionate about their subject, who will be able to work within a team-centred approach to planning and teaching a wonderful subject at all levels. The school is a thriving and successful school, with a growing intake, situated in a lovely modern site, with the Suffolk coast and nature reserve within easy reach. They have fantastic students, great staff and a commitment to success for all. They have an excellent CPD programme led by a Deputy Headteacher, and are committed to staff development.
