Description

  • Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes
  • Supporting the Accounting & Finance team with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Performing analysis and forecasting to support business decisions
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Helping with tax & VAT preparations/returns
  • Processing invoices, transactions, expenses, and payroll accurately and timely
  • Maintaining confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions
  • Inputting data via Xero on a daily basis
  • Managing the businesses bank reconciliations
  • Opportunity for growth within the business as they expand and build further

Profile

A successful Finance Assistant should have:

  • A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software, ideally Xero.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a team as well as independently.
  • Good understanding of financial regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Offer

  • Part-time role - 20 hours a week - 24 if desired
  • £25,000 - £30,000 pro-rata
  • Highly flexible, the hours can be worked across a couple of days or across a week, perfect for those needing to fit work around life - 1/2 days on site
