Are you looking for an outdoor role? Are you physically fit and an effective team player? If so, we want to hear from you?

We are currently recruiting for Bin Loader's on a Permanent basis, for our well-respected client based in Calne. The main function of the role is to work as part of a team of three, to collect kerbside recycling and waste goods from residential areas, which are then segregated, transported and returned to the facility.

Responsibilities

  • To collect from residential properties safely, securely, punctually and in accordance with the company policy
  • Manual handling - Ensuring health and safety procedures are adhered to and all waste is transported in a safe and secure manner
  • Reversing assistant duties - Working closely with your driver, to ensure accident prevention legislations are followed and all instructions are taken and relayed correctly to your team
  • Representing the organisation professionally and dealing with all customers and members of the public in a friendly and personable manner, always

The successful candidates must have experience working outdoors and dealing with the general public. This is a physically demanding role and you will be required to undertake basic health and safety, manual handling and reversing assistant training prior to starting your assignment. You will be working in all weather conditions therefore, you must be prepared for this and it is also essential you are an effective team player.

Full PPE, training and a health and safety induction will be provided.

Basic hours are Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 15:15 and Friday 07:00 to 14:45

There will also be a requirement to work Bank Holidays.
