Application Support Developer (Python C++ Linux bash) London / WFH to £140k+
Opportunity for a highly talented Application Support Developer with Python / C++ coding skills to progress your career in an impactful role at a global HFT firm with significant bonus earning potential.
As an Application Support Developer you will take ownership of the current production code base, maintain and improve it; you'll monitor and fix any issues related to code on live environments and create new tools to enhance efficiencies for traders.
You'll join a small, collaborative team working with a particular Portfolio Manager and will be able to see the results of your work and reap the rewards.
Location / WFH:
You'll join colleagues in the London office three days a week with flexibility to work from home the other two days, when in the office you can enjoy a range of first class facilities.
About you:
- You're degree educated in Computer Science or Engineering, MSc preferred
- You have a strong knowledge of Python including coding and submodules such as multiprocessing requests
- You have strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to debug and fix issues quickly
- You're able to read and understand C++ code and script with bash
- You have strong analysis and problem solving abilities
- You're collaborative with great communication skills
