Events Administrator
My client is a leading organisation based in Lisburn, currently seeking an experienced Events Administrator to join their team.
This is a full-time, contract initially for 9 months (with the possibility of being extended thereafter).
Working hours: Monday – Thursday: 8.30am – 5pm and Fridays: 8.30am – 4pm (36.5 hours per week) - with the option of working from home 1 day a week.
With a salary of £25,000 per annum.
Job role:
You will be responsible for providing full Event Administration.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous Administration experience in an office environment.
- IT proficient with the use of IT packages such as Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload while working under pressure.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment.
- Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail with an eye for accuracy.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing event contractors and service providers.
- Managing a number of the company attractions.
- Co-ordinating several competitions.
- Organising and managing bookings.
- Managing the Corporate bookings for Members and Meeting rooms.
- Administering various events group bookings
- Setting up meeting rooms and ensuring catering is organised if required.
- Undertaking various research projects.
- Managing the ‘info' email account and responding or forwarding emails as required.
- General admin and high-level support for the Operations Director as and when required.
- Dealing with general enquiries on behalf of the commercial team.
- Preparation of management information.
- Maintaining register of contractors and service providers.
- Assist in the administration of third-party contractor accounts.
- Administration of commercial accounts.
- Provide a high level of support to the Sales & Business Development Executive and Group Executive Director to include preparation of minutes, commercial reports and meeting set-ups.
