Title: Molecular Scientist (Various levels)

Our client is looking for Molecular Scientists at various levels to join their fast growing team in the North West of England.
Responsibilities:
Role Activities include:
- Experience of Molecular (qPCR) assays including method development and validation is essential
- Experience and knowledge of practical aspects of Molecular (qPCR) assay techniques and Method Validation to ICH Q2 R2 guidance
- Performing Molecular (qPCR) assays using a variety of analytical platforms.
- Develop new techniques within laboratory, in line with business need, experience of cell-based assays and dPCR
- NGS is an advantage.
- Understanding the theoretical basis of the Molecular assay techniques is essential
- Ability to generate and technically review reports.
- Demonstrate innovative method development as required, drawing on literature as required, in line with business needs and opportunities.
- Excellent client communication and service.
Requirements;
- BSc / MSc/ PhD or equivalent in Biology/Chemistry (or related scientific discipline) is essential.
- Industry experience is essential
- Analysis by Molecular (qPCR) assays is essential, in addition, experience of cell based assays and dPCR
- NGS is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Molecular (qPCR) techniques with extensive experience of analysis of biopharmaceuticals, small and/or large molecules.
- Experience of Molecular assay method development and validation.
- Comprehensive experience of working in a GxP regulatory laboratory with strong understanding of GMP, GLP and/or GCP principles.
