We are seeking an experienced Python Consultant with a strong background in software development and a deep understanding of Python frameworks and API design. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building robust applications, implementing unit testing, and deploying scalable solutions using containerisation technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Python.
- Architect and implement APIs, including RESTful APIs, ConfAPIs, and FastAPIs, ensuring they meet industry standards for performance and security.
- Utilise Python frameworks such as Django and Flask to create scalable and maintainable web applications.
- Perform comprehensive unit testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Leverage containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes to deploy and manage applications in cloud environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, helping them grow their skills.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continually enhance the team's capabilities.
Required Skills and Experience
- Software Background: Extensive experience in software development with a strong focus on Python.
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP): Proficiency in OOP principles and practices.
- Unit Testing: Strong experience with Python unit testing frameworks such as unittest, pytest, etc.
- Python Frameworks: Deep understanding of Django and Flask for building web applications.
