Overall Purpose:

To ensure sufficient stock availability to achieve overall sales and margin targets. To promptly and effectively respond to sales channel requests.

Key Responsibilities:

Achieve individual, team, and company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Negotiate supplier retros, promotional support, and rate card funding.
Ensure product details, including correct weights and dimensions, are updated in internal systems.
Promptly liaise with internal customers.
Process special purchase orders.
Update all promotions and new product development (NPD) in line with agreed deadlines.
Keep the Head of Trading fully informed of any current or impending issues.
Cover priority tasks for absent Trading team members.
Perform any other duties as defined by the Head of Trading.
Maintain good housekeeping standards, ensuring tidiness, safety, and adherence to good working practices.

Stock Management:

Monitor slow-moving stock and propose actions to the Trading Manager.
Regularly review and adjust minimum/maximum re-order levels, forecasting stock where required.
Raise and place replenishment orders with approved suppliers, ensuring continuity of stock levels within the set minimum/maximum levels.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience in stock profiling and supply chain management.
Proven track record of achieving targets.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to be flexible and work under pressure.
Customer-focused with a proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement.
Optimistic, positive, and resourceful.
Strong team player with integrity and a strong work ethic.
