Tradewind is currently seeking a learning support assistant to work with a child in KS2 who has mild autism and attachment issues.
As a learning support assistant, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to the child throughout the school day. Your role will involve developing and implementing strategies to help the child manage their emotions and behaviour, as well as supporting their academic progress across all subject areas.

- Resilience: a tenacious and determined approach to helping the child overcome any obstacles they may face is necessary to ensure their academic and personal success. You must be committed to providing ongoing support and encouragement, even when faced with setbacks.
- Flexibility: the ability to adapt and modify your approach based on the needs of the child is crucial. You must be able to work collaboratively with the child's teacher and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies.
Working hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm. This is a full-time position, and the school is looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
