This position is for a Day Support Worker. You will play a crucial role in providing a safe and secure haven for individuals with
mental health issues
and at risk of
homelessness
- The project caters to both males and females aged 18 and above.
Working within a hostel environment, your primary responsibility will be to deliver frontline support, empowering our clients and enhancing their independence. To thrive in this role, you must possess a
proactive approach
and excellent
communication skills
, enabling you to effectively address a range of issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the permanent staff member to address client inquiries promptly and efficiently.
- Handle incoming phone calls, providing assistance and relevant information to callers.
- Work closely with individuals to identify their unique needs and develop tailored support plans.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate notes, ensuring smooth communication and seamless handovers between staff members.
- Conduct regular health and safety checks by patrolling the building and monitoring the CCTV system.
