Our client based in Brierley Hill, is seeking to recruit a Bookkeeper / Administrator to join their current team. The role is based in a practice environment, but candidates will not need practice experience as this role is solely focused on their own Bookkeeping. If the right candidate possesses the skills / experience to offer additional support with the work of their clients however that would be advantageous.
Duties:
- Bookkeeping using SAGE.
- Raising payments from the bank on a regular basis.
- Bank reconciliations on a daily basis.
- Answering telephone calls, message taking and colleague communication.
- Typing, Printing, photocopying, letters, emails.
- Regular filing duties as well as annual archiving of clients' information/work.
- Assist with the file setup of new clients.
- Monitoring and managing supplies, dealing with deliveries and stationary orders.
- Supporting team of partners/accountants on a range of administrative functions.
- Various ad hoc other general office duties.
- Assisting with payroll duties (if required and experienced).
Skills / Abilities:
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.
- Excellent working knowledge of SAGE.
- Able to manage confidential information with integrity.
- Team player who is happy to help in other areas of the business.
- Excellent administration and IT skills.
