Engagement Specialist
Public Sector - Local Authority
Full-time position
Monday- Friday, 36 hours per week
Temporary role - 4-6-month assignment (possibility of extension)

(Inside IR35) negotiable

This post will spend a lot of time directly working in Hounslow, including attending events in the evening and occasionally at weekends, with time off in lieu. Able to easily access Hounslow.

?? Job Overview:

As an Engagement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in helping to formulate and implement consultations and engagement strategies for key projects. In this dynamic and challenging role, you will have the opportunity to directly communicate with communities, lead engagement workshops, manage consultations, and prepare effective communications. �?

? Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate engaging workshops, including those within the community, to gain valuable insights and promote project awareness.
  • Lead outreach efforts by connecting with key stakeholders and encouraging their active participation in consultations.
  • Foster strong relationships with communities and effectively communicate the purpose and benefits of the consultations.
  • Prepare high-quality, informative communications materials related to the consultations.
  • Analyse results and prepare comprehensive reports to provide valuable feedback to the organisation and stakeholders. ??

�? Requirements:

  • Proven experience in facilitating engagement workshops and managing consultations.
  • Exceptional report writing skills and the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner. ??
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on promoting inclusively.
  • Ability to work on sensitive projects and maintain confidentiality is essential.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
