**Day-to-day of the role:
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly management accounts.
- Generate reports using Excel spreadsheets.
- Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including recording financial transactions, verifying, and reconciling account balances.
- Contribute to financial reporting.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and budgets under the guidance of the Finance Director.
**Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience working at a similar level in an accounting role.
- AAT qualified / CIMA or ACCA part qualified or qualified by experience.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow directions accurately.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Competent IT skills, with a particular emphasis on proficiency in spreadsheet software.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Extremely organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Trustworthy and discreet when handling confidential information.
