Super opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a successful engineering company based in East Sussex is now available for an immediate start. This role is hybrid with a mix of office and home working. You will need your own transport-Due to the location.
We are looking for someone who is currently studying either CIMA or ACCA with a passion and drive to develop your Accounting career-Our client offers full study support too!
Your key role will be responsible for the smooth running of finance processes and assisting in month end management accounts.
PART QUALIFIED-CIMA OR ACCA
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in preparation of management accounts-Income statements, and balance sheet.
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliation
- Intercompany reconciliation
- Sales and purchase analysis
- Analyse various financial data and reporting
- Review staff expenses.
- Liaise with and prepare audits for statutory audit.
- Preparation of VAT returns for UK and Ireland
- Completion and submission of monthly and annual ONS surveys
- Provide cover for other finance team colleagues, including both sales and purchase ledger functions.
- Provide frontline financial support to FC.
- Ad Hoc tasks as required.
Key attributes:
- Management Accounts experience
- Data analysis and reporting
- Confident in using various accounting software.
- Excellent EXCEL skills
- Attention to detail.
- High level of numeracy
- Can do attitude, motivated and a strong team mentality.
- Effective time management and extremely organised.
