Academics are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) for day-to-day cover in Wandsworth and surrounding areas. If you have a passion for supporting pupils with SEN and are looking for a rewarding opportunity, this could be the perfect role for you!
To become a SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) you will be required to provide support and assistance to pupils with special educational needs on a day-to-day basis.
Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and ensure the inclusion of all pupils. To foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, where every pupil feels valued and supported. To assist with the implementation of differentiated instruction and provide one-on-one support to pupils as needed. To help pupils develop their social and emotional skills, promoting their overall well-being.
To apply for this SEN Teaching assistant role you will require:
- Previous experience working with pupils with special educational needs is preferred.
- A genuine passion for making a positive impact on the lives of pupils with SEN.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of pupils.
- Relevant qualifications or training in special education or SEN support would be advantageous.
