Our client is a well-established, world-leading manufacturing business that produces and supplies specialist products to high-profile customers within the MOD, Automotive and Medical industries around the world.
Through growth and investment, the company are looking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer, to work alongside the Senior Engineer, providing production support for equipment and processes at their expanding site in Knowsley.

As the Manufacturing Engineer, your duties will include:
- Create and implement Planned Preventative Maintenance and Total Productive Maintenance schedules for key manufacturing equipment.
- Provide reactive breakdown support in a busy process and production machinery environment.
- Anticipate any issues to avoid production impact.
- Engage in creative problem-solving to address operational issues, including efficiency improvements, process bottlenecks and quality concerns.
- Identify or design tools and fixtures to aid production.
- Manage key projects and liaise with the Senior Manufacturing Engineer and stakeholders.
- Generate and implement additional SOPs.
- Order any tooling as required.
- Maintain records as required.
As the successful Manufacturing Engineer, you will have the following skills/experience:
- Have a BTEC/HNC qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- Must have previous working experience as a Manufacturing Engineer - ideally a minimum of 5 years.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Versatile and a self-starter, able to work without supervision.
- Excellent communicator.
- Ability to plan and prioritise workload to ensure projects are on schedule.
- Excellent team player.
Salary: £32,000 - £34,000 (DOE) + monthly bonus
Shifts: Monday- Thursday 08:00- 16:30 & Fridays 08:00-13:00hrs
