A fantastic opportunity for a Material Planner to join a well-established manufacturing organisation based in Newbury with a salary up to £35,000. The Material Planner will sit in the Supply Chain department, with excellent opportunities for growth and career progression.
Candidates will have previous in Material Control or Material Planning experience, liaising with suppliers for material requirements ideally within a fast paced, high volume manufacturing environment and are self-motivated to join the team.
Role responsibilities for the Material Planner include:
- Analysing MRP schedules and collaborating with suppliers where schedule changes are required
- Working with suppliers to ensure material supply meets production requirements
- Reviewing material planning to ensure inventory targets are met
- Tracking and monitoring supplier performance levels
- Escalate poor supplier performance to the Purchasing team
Person Specification of the Material Planner:
- Knowledge of MRP systems and Excel
- Previous experience working with suppliers and material planning or material control
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Dirven and motivated individual with a desire to succeed
Salary
Up to £35k
Role offers up to 2 days a week working from home
