iO Associates are currently seeking 2 Senior Application Engineers for an initial 6 contract in Cambridgeshire which is likely to extend as part of a new programme of long term work. This is a stream of contract work that is for one of the global robotics manufacturers.
You, the successful Senior Application Engineer will be working on cutting edge robotics using your wealth of experience within controls and instrumentation. They're looking for someone who has experience within programming controls using language IEC 61131 along with HMI's .
Skills required:
- Experience with DCS/SCADA/PLC equipment (hardware and software)
- programming control application software using IEC 61131 languages as well as HMIs.
- Experience with industrial fieldbus technologies (e.g. Profibus)
- Programming serial interfaces using Modbus protocol.
