They are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead a £15 million civils scheme in Northampton for a prestigious end client.

Job Description: As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of a major civils project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning and design through to execution and handover. This role role will involve a lot of client facing activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the £15 million civils scheme from inception to completion.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
  • Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members.
  • Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management and clients.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager in the construction or civil engineering sector, ideally with a focus on civils schemes.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects, preferably in the range of £10 million to £20 million.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • Full UK driving licence and able to commute to the Northamptonshire region easily.
