We are working with a well known London based Tour Operator, who are looking for an experienced Senior Sales Manager (EMEA) to join their team!
Responsible for managing specialist trade accounts and directing the company Commercial Office (BCO) and Private Client Managers (PCMs) in Europe to achieve geo-market revenue targets. as well as seeking out new sales opportunities to generate revenue for the Company.
The role:
- Define and implement the leisure and groups sales strategy for key territories within the assigned market as per annual budget ambitions
- Manage the company accounts in the market; setting strategy and objectives for each one
- Track and record sales activities and account growth by using available systems and tools.
- Support the company's Commercial Organisation to optimise performance and maximise revenue from EMEA.
- Support the sales roll-out of new T&C products in the assigned market.
- Introduce new initiatives to raise awareness of the products within the assigned market/segment.
- Represent the company Sales Series, overseas trade shows and industry/networking events.
- Conduct regular in-person and virtual sales calls in EMEA; setting up regular webinars and training sessions to keep products top of mind.
- Arrange and host FAM trips to the products seeking third-party support if relevant i.e. from tourist boards, airlines, partner hotels and industry affiliates. Design and deliver an exemplary educational experience to trade partners and track results.
- Participate in site inspections and client entertaining as required, which may include out of hours and weekends.
- Ensure a good understanding of the division's contractual agreements, and issue when required new or renewed commercial contracts with new/existing accounts.
- Deliver excellent presentations, in person and virtually.
- Work with the marketing team to create new collateral and ensure sales and marketing activities are aligned
- Implement measures and systems to improve cost efficiency and the internal and external customer
- Budget, plan and monitor departmental expenditure.
- Ensure and protect the security and confidentiality of all guest, Employee, and Company information.
The Person:
- 7 years relevant experience within a similar role/level.
- Experience within the luxury hospitality industry - advantageous.
- A degree or relevant diploma from a recognised tertiary educational institution.
- Proven ability to drive sales process from plan to close.
- Proven experience in working with and delivering in Europe and Middle Eastern markets.
- Demonstrated ability to be innovative and creative.
- A developing "black book" of contacts in the luxury sector.
- Knowledge & experience of the EMEA travel industry and/or luxury sector.
- Robust commercial acumen, demonstrating an exceptional understanding of market dynamics, business strategies, and an ability to drive profitable growth through astute sales leadership and decision-making.
- High degree of computer literacy with creative PowerPoint skills.
- An ability to communicate, present and influence effectively at all levels of the organisation
- A working knowledge of a second language (particularly French, Spanish or Italian) is advantageous.
The Package:
- Salary- £60,000.
- Hybrid- 3 days office, 2 days wfh. London Bridge Office
- Sales Bonus Plan - 15%.

- Holiday- 25 days base (excluding bank holidays). This increases by 1 day for every 5 years of service.
