Newbury is home to an inclusive Primary school for all student abilities. The successful Learning Support Assistant - Newbury will provide support across KS1 and KS2 classes, assisting with Maths, Literacy, and Phonics, while ensuring that the individual needs of all pupils are met.
The role:
- Job type - Temporary
- Pay - £83.33 - £90 per day (term time only, based on experience)
- Hours - 08:30am - 03:30pm (Monday - Friday - term time)
- Based in Newbury - great commute from Reading, Theale and wider West Berkshire!
- Learning Support Assistant
- Supporting on KS1 & KS2 curriculum.
- Collaboratively working in a supportive, close-knit team.

- Driving Licence is preferable.
- Enthusiastic for learning/education.
- Can work full time.
Qualificaitons for the Learning Support Assistant - Newbury:
- Graduates welcome with a BA/Bsc 2:1 degree (STEM subjects desirable not required)
- 2 years experience with children in any setting (preferred)
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills - supporting the KS1 or KS2 students.
- Hold an Enhanced DBS or willingness to get one before the interview.
