We have a fantastic opportunity for a dual site Leisure Manager across both Sinah Warren and Lakeside hotels on Hayling Island

What will I be doing?

After merging the Spa and Leisure departments across both of the Hayling Islands hotels , we have now have one super Leisure and Spa department. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team that spans two hotels.

As the Leisure Manager you oversee the Sports, Leisure, and Spa departments, therefore will manage a team of experts that offer a wide range of activities such as fitness classes, archery, and rifle shooting, to facials, massages, and the gym sessions.

You will be responsible for driving financial success, guest service and maximising the potential of the Sports, Leisure, and Spa departments by showcasing the best Warner can offer.

You will nurture an environment that allows your team to perform at their best through high performance and high fulfilment and creating memories for our guests and giving our team opportunities of a lifetime.

  • Develop and oversee an engaging leisure activity program that caters to diverse guest interests.
  • Recruit, train, and lead a motivated team, fostering a positive working environment.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, resource allocation, and maintenance of facilities
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by responding promptly to feedback and making improvements where necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience.

What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience in leisure management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • A passion for guest service and creating memorable experiences.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Able to confidently deals with guest concerns with the ability to resolve problems, showing empathy and understanding continually looking to improvise with opportunities our guests provide.

What skills do I need?

  • Previous experience in leading a Leisure team, focusing on developing and retaining therapists.
  • Must have had responsibility for managing a P&L and the ability to manage costs in line with budgets.
  • Understand the importance of target setting and driving sales.
