Prestigious US law firm is seeking a new Conflicts Lawyer on a permanent basis. The Conflicts Lawyer will be an integral part of the firm's global Conflicts New Business Department.

  • To £120,000 per annum
  • Hybrid working (4 days in the office / 1 day remote)

Conflicts Lawyer Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyse conflicts reports to identify potential conflicts of interest and business issues.
  • Research, identify, and verify new clients and matter parties by using external corporate research tools and online resources.
  • Prepare a Conflicts Summary outlining any potential conflicts of interest and business issues.
  • Perform review and approval of New Business Forms to ensure NBFs comply with the firm's new business intake policies and procedures.
  • Draft engagement letters, conflict waivers, and screens as required.
  • Participate in weekly meetings of the Conflicts Staff Attorneys.

Conflicts Lawyer Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Knowledge of rules of professional responsibility.
  • Admission to a law society or bar association in a jurisdiction where the Firm has an office.
  • Conflicts / new business intake experience at a large international law firm.
  • Database Research Experience or experience with corporate research and compliance screening tools.
  • Experience with the Intapp Open conflicts and new business intake solution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
