Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Planning and preparing lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
- Assessing, recording, and reporting on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Managing classroom behaviour to ensure a conducive learning environment.
- Supporting students in their academic and personal development.
- Participating in departmental meetings and contributing to the development of the science curriculum.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
- Proven experience in teaching science at the secondary school level.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and interactive lessons.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues and students.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
