We are looking for a Lettings Advisor (part-time) to join the Lettings team. You will be the first point of contact for any customer requesting advice and assistance in relation to rehousing requirements or housing options.

Outline of Key responsibilities for the Lettings Advisor

  • To provide advice to customers on a range of housing options.
  • To focus on signposting to external agencies such as housing needs and support organisations.
  • Dealing with enquiries regarding available properties, registering and updating applications.
  • Providing advice and appropriate guidance to customers circumstances, administration of CBL platforms and advertising of void properties.
  • To work closely with Neighbourhood and Supported Housing Teams.
  • To maintain the housing register in accordance with procedures as required.
  • To provide excellent customer service in respect of lettings enquiries and housing options advice.
  • To have a good all round knowledge of the Association's lettings policies and procedures and be able to handle a wide range of queries and issues with confidence.
  • To take responsibility for managing own workload whilst ensuring customers' needs take priority.

We are looking for someone who has...

  • Relevant experience of working in Housing Management and/or Lettings Industry
  • Proven experience of customer service focused work in either a face-to-face or telephone environment.
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team and support colleagues, taking initiative and demonstrating self-motivation to achieve results.
  • Someone who is Self-motivated and Resilient.

  • Salary of £23,997 per annum - Band 4 (pro-rated)
  • Annual pay scale increase
  • 27 days holiday (rising to 32 over 5 years' service) + bank holidays
