Key Responsibilities as the Year 2 teacher

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons to Year 2 students, ensuring all children reach their full potential.
  • Incorporate outdoor learning into the curriculum, making the most of our extensive outdoor spaces.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

What Academics and the school are looking for

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
  • A passion for outdoor learning and the ability to integrate it into your teaching.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
