39 hours per week
We are seeking Support Workers to join an incredible organisation providing support and education to young children between the ages of 6 to 12 years old who have come from traumatic backgrounds.
The service is a 24-hour programme which focuses on helping children to form positive relationships and enable them to increase their self-esteem, and acquire the skills they need both at home and at school.
Skills / Experience:
Please note you must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle
- You will be a passionate individual who takes pride in seeing others succeed through the support you offer.
- Ideally with a background in Child Support or education we are seeking people who want to make a difference to the children they support.
- You will be comfortable with providing personal care when necessary and also in dealing with challenging behaviours with a strong understanding of safeguarding.
- An NVQ would be preferable however there is also an opportunity to progress and complete NVQ's funded by the organisation.
