Colmore Education are looking for a Qualified Humanities Teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive mainstream secondary school in the historic city of Lichfield.
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Humanities Teacher to inspire and educate students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will be passionate about humanities and committed to delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Humanities lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and curriculum plans.
- Participate in school activities and events, contributing to the broader school community.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Humanities.
- Experience teaching Humanities at KS3 and KS4 levels.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Humanities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
