Our client in Preston is looking for a MIG Welder. You'll be working on bin wagons, with a focus on welding Hardox material in thicknesses ranging from 3mm to 10mm.
Responsibilities:
Fabricate and weld secondary steel components as per specifications.
Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure precise production.
Safely operate welding equipment and tools.
Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet industry standards.
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience as a fabricator and welder.
Skilled in welding secondary steel, including Hardox.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings accurately.
