Are you an experienced Account Manager? Our client, a cleaning supplies company, is looking for a Account Manager to join their team. The Account Manager will be expected to grow new business within current key accounts.

The responsibilities of the Account Manager include but are not limited to the following:

  • Meet or exceed agreed monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals, profit margins and activity targets.
  • Manage and retain a portfolio of existing customers, whilst developing new profitable clients.
  • Visit accounts on a scheduled basis; create and deliver account development plans.
  • Research new business opportunities, identify likely sales points, develop strategic plans and sales strategies, and undertake presentations to and negotiate with prospective customers.
  • Prepare sales proposals and formally present them to prospects and customers.

Skills, Experience & Key Candidate Attributes:

  • Experience with the sale of consumable items to B2B end users.
  • Strong business development and customer support skills with a proven track record in managing clients and winning business.
  • Self-driven, self-motivated and excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
  • Proficient IT Skills including Microsoft Office and CRM Systems.
