Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:00pm, Friday 8:00am-3:00pm (school term-time only)
Start Date: September 2024 Duration: Temporary supply contract

Role Overview:
Academics Doncaster are seeking a dedicated and organised School Administrator to join our dynamic pool of support staff for a role based at a vibrant secondary school in Doncaster. This pivotal role ensures the smooth operation of the school office, providing essential support to students, parents, and staff. The school is renowned for its vibrant community and commitment to academic excellence and conveniently located with excellent transport links, easily accessible from the M18 motorway.

School Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the school office
  • Answer and direct phone calls in a friendly and professional manner
  • Handle enquiries from students, parents, and visitors efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records using SIMS (School Information Management System)
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
  • Support the reprographics department (experience desirable but not essential)
  • Utilize excellent computer skills, particularly in Excel, to manage data and reports
  • Quickly learn and adapt to new systems and processes

The Ideal School Administrator Assistant:

  • Previous experience in a school office environment or similar role is essential
  • Proficiency with SIMS
  • Friendly, approachable, and excellent communication skills
  • High attention to detail, ability to multitask and work to deadlines
  • Strong computer and Excel skills
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new procedures
