An excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst to join a leading retail distribution business in Manchester.

Client Details

My client is a retail distributor serving major retailers across the UK and Europe.

They are searching for a Business Analyst to join their team, who will play a vital role in driving efficiency for both processes and technology.

The role is permanent, based in Manchester with hybrid working - 4 days onsite, 1 day work from home.

Description

  • Analyse current business processes using flowcharts, diagrams, and other visual tools.
  • Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimisation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues at all levels to understand their challenges and identify ways technology can support their goals.
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions to elicit, clarify, and prioritise requirements.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements, working closely with the IT team.
  • Working with our system experts, propose and evaluate solutions that leverage the system (D365) and complementary technologies to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Use data to identify trends, understand performance, and support decision-making.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Create training materials and communication plans and provide ongoing support to ensure the smooth adoption of new processes and technology changes.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a retail, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Proficient in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).

Job Offer

  • Salary range of up to £55,000 depending on experience
