An excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst to join a leading retail distribution business in Manchester.

Client Details

My client is a retail distributor serving major retailers across the UK and Europe.

They are searching for a Business Analyst to join their team, who will play a vital role in driving efficiency for both processes and technology.

The role is permanent, based in Manchester with hybrid working - 4 days onsite, 1 day work from home.

Description

Analyse current business processes using flowcharts, diagrams, and other visual tools.
Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimisation.
Collaborate with colleagues at all levels to understand their challenges and identify ways technology can support their goals.
Facilitate workshops and discussions to elicit, clarify, and prioritise requirements.
Translate business needs into technical requirements, working closely with the IT team.
Working with our system experts, propose and evaluate solutions that leverage the system (D365) and complementary technologies to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Use data to identify trends, understand performance, and support decision-making.
Develop reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Create training materials and communication plans and provide ongoing support to ensure the smooth adoption of new processes and technology changes.

Profile

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a retail, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface with technical and non-technical teams.
Proficient in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
