Salary: MPS £34,514 - UPS £47,592

Are you an experienced Primary Class Teacher who wants to make a positive impact to children and young people? If so, we want to hear from you.

Teach Plus are currently working with a an amazing mainstream primary school who are seeking experienced, dedicated and confident class teachers to join their team in September 2024. This school are seeking class teachers who are eager to develop their own skills and grow alongside the school. You must enjoy using creative and innovative approaches to teaching and respond to the individual strengths and needs for children.

This school ensures that all pupils are encouraged and challenged to ensure they meet their full potential by having supportive Class Teachers. All Class Teachers will provide a caring and nurturing learning environment where children are kind, respectful and a pleasure to teach.

The schools most recent Ofsted report was in June 2023, where it states that the curriculum is broad, and it aligns with the subjects and aims of the national curriculum. Class Teachers can identify the learning needs of pupils with SEND and work with a range of professionals to understand pupils individual needs.

For this Class Teacher role you will need to be able to make an impact on children's lives by delivering exciting lessons to keep pupils stimulated in and out of the classroom. Be able to display relentless passion and enthusiasm for striving for the best, effective planning, teaching and assessments which enables children to make progress.

As a Class Teacher you will be required to:

  • Plan fun and exciting lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum
  • Experience teaching across KS1 and KS2.
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Support pupils from all different background and learning needs

The ideal candidate for a Class Teacher role will have:

  • QTS/PGCE
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (Child workforce only)
  • Right to work within the UK
  • Experienced teaching across KS1 or KS2
