Meraki Talent's wealth management platform client is looking for a finance platform team lead to come and join the company. The organization has experienced significant growth, driven by its internal successes and strengthened by strategic corporate partnerships so is looking to expand various parts of the business.
The role involves leading a team of Software Engineers and Business Analysts to develop, support, and maintain financial software solutions for their clients. The job also includes providing technical support, managing team capacity and resources, and ensuring the successful implementation of projects using Agile or non-Agile methodologies.
The role will suit someone who has a finance / accounting background who has managed a team of tech professionals to implement platform / systems to finance clients. As it faces off to clients from a finance background the individual will need to have an extensive knowledge in this space to bridge the gap between the IT and finance professionals. As it is a team lead position, they would ideally want someone who has a background in leading, mentioning and developing a team of tech professionals.
Responsibilities of the
Accounting Platform Team Lead
- Managing a team of tech professionals to deliver high class support to their clients ensuring the day-to-day deliverables and long-term development plans are met.
- Managing stakeholders across different countries as reports into the head of EU core banking and a team / client base that is dispersed throughout Europe so
- Provide support for European SaaS customers, and owns regional platform customization solutions
- Collaborates with the Scrum Master to define the team's work model (agile or non-agile) and facilitates team meetings to meet customer and organizational requirements
- Oversees capacity planning, team ramp-up, and integration of external resources for strategic projects and regional needs
Experience of the
Accounting Platform Team Lead
- Extensive experience in managing accounting or finance-related technology teams, preferably within a client facing platform environment
- Strong background in the finance / tech space to bridge the gap between the technical solutions and the end client
- Proven ability to define and implement work models, including agile and non-agile methodologies.
- Background in team leadership and managing the long-term development of a team
