As a SEA Senior Systems Engineer you will take responsibility for the design and development and support of our products. You will be required to progress the design, development, design proving, test, commissioning and in-service support of the equipment as part of a multi-disciplined team. This work may involve sensitive information so the applicant must be able to obtain security clearance.

What you'll be doing

The role will see the job holder joining a very successful engineering company, who have ambitious plans to develop new and technologically challenging markets across the world. The primary location of work will be Beckington near Frome. The job holder will be required to occasionally work at SEAs other locations and from customer and supplier sites including overseas.

  • Defining and Managing Requirements throughout the Engineering Lifecycle
  • Proving Technical inputs to bidding activities
  • Integration and production qualification activities
  • Product Trialling and Testing Activities
  • Work Package generation and execution

The skills you need

  • Extensive Knowledge and experience of working within the Verification and Validation
  • A good understanding of requirements capture and experience of using DOORS to manage requirements
  • Knowledge and understanding of using MBS
  • Strong Leadership and team leading capabilities
  • Excellent Communication Skills
