Finance Assistant
Salary: Competitive and based on experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join a dynamic and growing team. This newly created role that will be instrumental in assisting with day-to-day duties related to finance reporting directly to the Head of Finance.

What you'll do:
- Assist in month-end finance procedures including updating manual pre-payment and accrual schedules, maintaining the fixed asset register, posting journals across Group entities, and calculating bad debt provision requirements
- Reconcile ledger codes to ensure all costs and income are captured and accounted for in accordance with policy
- Help produce Management Information for presentation to Boards
- Create and maintain excel spreadsheets for income and cost line analysis, aiding in financial decision making
- Monitor payments received into correct accounts
- Assist with database maintenance, ensuring details are kept up-to-date
What you bring:
- Organised with strong self-motivation
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to work well within a team
- 'A' level or higher education including a business studies or accountancy qualification
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Office modules, especially Excel
- Knowledge of Xero would be advantageous but not essential
- Experience with Singlify / Salesforce or similar CRM system would be beneficial
- Familiarity with Sage software
