Job Title: Trainee Production & Technical Procurement Engineer
Salary: £26,000 - £32,000

Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated trainee with SolidWorks CAD experience and an interest in process engineering and technical procurement. This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to work in production engineering while supporting our technical procurement functions within a dynamic and innovative company.
Key Responsibilities:
- SolidWorks Design & Modelling: Create and assist with stage drawings and manufacturing layouts.
- Technical Procurement: Build relationships with suppliers, manage purchase orders, track costs, and adapt to market changes.
- Process Engineering: Collaborate on production readiness studies, support feasibility analysis, and improve manufacturing processes.
- Quotation & Procurement Support: Assist in providing quotations for materials and support engineering decision-making.
- Production Readiness Studies (PRS): Help ensure components are production-ready with comprehensive documentation.
Qualifications:
- Experience: min 2 years experience using SolidWorks designing and modelling; interest in technical procurement is highly desirable.
- Education: A degree or diploma in mechanical or manufacturing engineering is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Understanding of machining and MRP systems is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, adaptability, and proactive problem-solving.

- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
- Friday: 8:00 am - 3:30 pm
