Registered Manager for 3-Bed EBD Children's Home

Location: Poulton-le-Fylde

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people? Do you have the experience and dedication to lead a team in providing exceptional care for those with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

Position: Registered Manager

Type: Full-Time (40 Hours, Flexible) No on call required

Location: Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire

Salary: £50,000 Basic (+ up to 5k bonus annually)

About Us:

A dedicated children's home in Poulton-le-Fylde, providing care and support for up to three children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). Our home is already Ofsted registered, and we are now looking for a committed and experienced Registered Manager to help us build a strong and compassionate team to ensure the best outcomes for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the children's home in accordance with Ofsted regulations and standards.

Recruit, train, and develop a dedicated team of care professionals.

Ensure the highest levels of care, support, and safeguarding for the children and young people in our home.

Implement and monitor care plans, ensuring they meet the individual needs of each child.

Maintain a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for both residents and staff.

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, including budgeting and resource management.

Develop and maintain positive relationships with external agencies, families, and the local community.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a managerial role within a children's residential setting, ideally within an EBD environment.

Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).

Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and experience in ensuring compliance.

Excellent leadership and team-building skills.

A genuine passion for working with children and young people with EBD.

Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

A commitment to continuous professional development.
