Role Overview
As a Principal Flow Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting flow assurance activities across multiple projects. You will prepare technical documentation, oversee supplier selection, review contractor work, and ensure compliance with international standards and company policies. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare technical documentation for flow assurance during project phases such as FEED, detailed engineering, and operations.
- Support supplier selection processes, including qualifications and recommendations.
- Review and approve contractor work related to flow assurance.
- Collaborate closely with other disciplines and departments throughout project execution.
- Ensure adherence to international standards, company policies, and HSEQ guidelines.
Knowledge and Experience
- Extensive experience as a Flow Assurance Engineer across various project phases, from concept to operations.
- Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and multiphase hydrocarbon transportation.
- Proficient in software such as OLGA, PVTSim, Pipesim, and Hysys.
- Experience with technical audits, safety reviews, and risk assessments.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Strong project planning and execution skills, with an emphasis on integrating HSE and technical risk processes.
Qualifications
- MS or BS degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Energy Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience in flow assurance across all project phases.
