Dental Receptionist Job - Full-time Position

We are looking for a professional and experienced Dental Receptionist to join our team. This is a key role within our practice, requiring a candidate with a strong understanding of dental front desk operations and patient management. Prior experience working in a dental practice is essential, as we need someone who can integrate seamlessly into our team and provide exceptional service from day one.
Key Details:
- Salary: £13-£13.50 per hour based on experience and demonstrated competence
- Working Hours: Full-time position (Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays)
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming and assisting patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Managing appointment scheduling and ensuring efficient diary management
- Handling patient enquiries, both in person and over the phone, with professionalism and accuracy
- Processing payments, insurance claims, and patient records efficiently
- Coordinating with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintaining a well-organised reception area and ensuring all administrative tasks are completed effectively
Candidate Requirements:
- Prior experience in a dental practice reception role is essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent patient service
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- Professional approach, maintaining discretion and confidentiality at all times
