Receptionist Role at a Leading Investment Bank in London

  • We are looking for an exceptional Receptionist to join a prestigious investment bank in London. This position is ideal for a professional who excels in providing top-tier customer service and is keen to develop their career in a dynamic and high-profile environment. As the bank's Ambassador, you will be the first point of contact, making a positive and lasting impression on all visitors and clients. You will be responsible for managing meeting room bookings, coordinating with hospitality teams for client events, and supporting diary management. We welcome applications from individuals with Front of House experience in corporate settings, luxury hotels, or as former cabin crew.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the bank's Ambassador, efficiently managing the switchboard and directing calls with professionalism.

  • Screening and redirecting telephone inquiries, ensuring clear and effective communication.

  • Welcoming clients, staff, and visitors with a polished and friendly approach.

  • Managing meeting room bookings and using scheduling software to ensure seamless coordination.

  • Liaising with the hospitality team to organise catering for meetings and events.

  • Overseeing the setup and upkeep of meeting rooms, ensuring they are always presented to a high standard.

  • Assisting with diary management and coordinating conference calls.

  • Monitoring and replenishing office supplies as required.

  • Handling general administrative tasks, including photocopying, scanning, and organising post and couriers.

  • Providing support to PAs and Directors with various administrative duties.

  • Coordinating travel and accommodation arrangements for staff and guests.

  • Undertaking additional ad hoc duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Front of House/Receptionist role within a corporate or luxury environment, or as Cabin Crew.

  • Outstanding communication and administrative skills.

  • Confidence in interacting with high-profile clients and senior stakeholders.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

  • A professional telephone manner, immaculate presentation, and a courteous attitude.

  • A proactive and team-oriented mindset.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
