Repair of damaged panels in preparation for paint,
Removal and safe disposal of welded damaged parts,
Re-alignment using jig and measuring equipment,
Replacement of all new panels, welded, bonded or bolted - paying attention to specified repair methods,
Be comfortable working on a wide range of vehicles (MSC repair all makes/models of cars, vans, HGV's, prestige vehicles, classic cars, etc.),
Demonstrate a fundamental understanding of multiple vehicle systems and subsystems,
Have the ability of work to a job card within the estimated time frame,
Report unseen damage to an Estimator once it is identified,
Report any faults of defects noticed whilst working on any vehicle,
Photograph & record each stage of the repair process,
Work must be carried out to BS1015 accreditation.
Skills:
- Must be able to prioritise your work in a fast-paced environment and manage a high workload,
- Follow correct repair methods,
- Reliable & self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude,
- Exceptional attention to detail,
- Very good written and spoken English is essential.
Qualifications:
Qualifications such as ATA/IMI/NVQ/VCQ would be an advantage.
